The 2000 the total cost involved in organizing King Hung Vuong Social Activities was $1,407 . (King Hung Vuong anniversary with 2 ports roaster , 300 to 400 breaks roll 400 can soft drink, flower, fruit etc … All thing members donation.)
However, in successive year , the total cost had increased dramatically as outlined below:

Springvale Indochinese Mutual Assistance Association Inc.
In 2002 Mr Phong Nguyen had Transferred $18,560.00 from VCA/Vic account to SICMAA account to, to use for SICMAA print media expenses . However SICMAA’s Income and Expenditure Statement ended 30 June 2002 showed $12,400 ( a discrepancy at lease $6,160.00).
All funds transferred were with out the approval of the VCA/Vic Advisory Council .

The Victorian Multicultural Commission provide a $20,000.00 financial support to this event annually, Stall fee , Sponsors by multi Business, Admission fee … and many volunteer contribution their time, labor…
This amount was to be use to cover the costs involved in organizing the event in 2008, the summary of reported 20 April 2008 Tet festival income was $215,073.70, however, the Profit & Loss Statement year ended 30 June 2008 showed an income of $190,134.06. There is an amount of 24,939.64 which is unaccounted for.

Mr Phong Nguyen was the Chair Person of VCA/Vic from 1999-2003. Then Mr Hung Chau, who was the General Secretary during 1999-2003 became Chair Person 2003-05. Then Mr Phong Nguyen became Chair Person again 2005-09, and Mr Bon Nguyen was the Vice-Chair during this time . From 2009-2013 Mr Bon Nguyen current the Chair Person of VCA/Vic.
